Private & Group Tours
Private & Group Wine Tours
Barossa Valley
Three friends or sixty colleagues — we run the whole day for your group alone. Boutique cellar doors, lunch included, and a local guide who has been showing people around the Barossa for over 15 years.

Group Sizes
Groups From 3 to 60
Most boutique Barossa operators run one small vehicle and cap out well under twenty guests. We can host a couple of carloads of friends or an entire workplace, without splitting your group across separate tours.
Small Group
3–8
Friends, couples travelling together, or a family day out. Intimate cellar-door visits where the winemaker has time for everyone.
Private Charter
9–20
The whole vehicle to yourselves. Birthdays, hens and bucks days, club outings — the day runs to your group's pace, not a stranger's.
Large Charter
Up to 60
Corporate days, weddings and big celebrations. We coordinate cellar doors and lunch around a party this size — most operators simply can't.
Not sure which fits? Tell us your numbers and we'll be straight with you about what works.

Simple Process
How a Group Charter Works
1. Tell us your group
Numbers, date, where everyone is staying, and anything the group particularly wants — or wants to avoid.
2. We quote and suggest a route
A price for your group and dates, with a proposed run of cellar doors and a lunch venue. Adjust it as you like.
3. We lock it in
We book the cellar doors and the lunch venue so everything is expecting your group on the day.
4. Enjoy the day
Pickup from your Barossa accommodation at 10am. We drive, pour the stories, and get everyone home safely.

Where We'll Take You
We build private days around the same small, family-run producers as our regular tours — places like Tomfoolery, Gibson Wines, First Drop, Lambert Estate and Kies Family Wines, where the people who make the wine are usually the ones pouring it.

Common Questions
Private & Group Tour FAQ
How many people can you take on a private Barossa wine tour?
Our standard full-day tour runs from 3 to 20 guests. For larger parties we arrange private group charters for up to 60 people, which is well beyond what most boutique Barossa operators can accommodate. If your group falls anywhere in that range, we can host it.
What does a private wine tour cost?
Charter pricing depends on your group size, pickup point and the date, so we quote each one rather than publishing a flat rate. Our standard shared full-day tour is $160 to $180 per person depending on pickup location. Send us your numbers and dates and we will come back with a price.
Can we choose which wineries we visit?
Yes. On a private charter the day is yours. We will suggest a route through the boutique cellar doors we know best — the small family producers where you meet the winemaker — and adjust it around what your group wants to drink. Cellar doors do have their own opening hours, so some combinations work better on certain days.
Do you pick up from Adelaide for group charters?
No. We pick up from 8 designated points across the Barossa region — Tanunda, Nuriootpa, Angaston, Rowland Flat, Lyndoch and Gawler. Staying in the valley means your group spends the day among the wineries instead of several hours travelling to and from the city.
Is lunch included for private groups?
Yes, a proper sit-down lunch at a local venue is part of the day. For larger charters we book the venue ahead, so the more notice you can give us the better the choice. Cellar-door tasting fees are separate and may apply at some wineries.
What occasions do you host?
Birthdays and milestone celebrations, hens and bucks days, work and corporate days out, club and society outings, family gatherings, and visiting groups staying in the Barossa. The format is the same relaxed full day — it just scales to your numbers.
How far ahead should we book a group charter?
The earlier the better, particularly for larger groups and weekends, because we coordinate cellar-door visits and a lunch booking around your party. Get in touch with your dates and we will tell you honestly what is available.
